Billy) At the very core of the Bible is the message of obedience. From Abraham to Christ obedience is a key factor in our walk with God. Come join us as we learn the freeing truth of obeying our Father. Jesus the ultimate example of obedience will show us the way to life, blessing and fulfillment. During Flu season (November through April) we will not be shaking hands to welcome each other in our services. |
| HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR OUR GUESTS Our nursery and early-childhood classes provide a warm, nurturing, and well-supervised program for your child. If you have young children with you today, we encourage you to take them to one of these classes. If you decide to take your young child or infant with you into the service, please be aware that we have a room available if you need to take your baby out. Our Bawl Room is located in Room 14 of our Sunday school addition. This room is set up with a closed circuit TV so you will not miss any of the service. Ask any greeter for directions. Please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering. The offering is for regular attenders and members who consider Faith to be their church home. As our guest, we only ask that you turn in your attendance/response card attached to your bulletin. Are you interested in finding out more about Faith? Join us for Membership Class 201 on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. In this four hour class, we will look together at how God designed the church to meet our deepest needs, what our church believes and talk about how you can become a part of this church family. If interested, please call the church office at 962-6335. If you need any help finding a classroom or have any questions, please see one of our ushers or greeters or hall monitors (will have name tags on). Want to get the message of Faith out? | Thank You Faith Baptist Church Family! Thank you FBC family for generously giving to the "Changing Lives" project for MCCS in Mexico! We were able to send a new uniform for each child (pants and shirt) and also several items for the "reward closet" for the children's good behavior and grades. God is good! For this month, we hope to raise enough funds to send a stand mixer for the kitchens! Our hope is to continue "Preparing a Harvest for Our Lord". We love you and thank you! Thank you so much for the cards and prayers while I was sick. May God bless you all. (Thank You, Bobby Long) Thank you for the prayers, kindness, visits, calls and cards during Darrell's death. Thanks to Dreama Miller's team for the meal prepared for our extended family and a special thanks to my neighbor Brenda Cochran for helping Dreama with all the preparations and serving the food. Bro. Billy & Sis. Elaine thank you for visiting & for the service for Darrell at Arritt's Funeral Home. We appreciate all of our church family. (Sincerely, Darrell Walker, Sr. Family) I just wanted to thank you all for your constant love and encouragement. It's been a rough couple of months and I don't know if I would have gotten through without your prayers and support. I miss you guys so much and think about you all the time. I've found a church here and a Bible Study Group (they have really made life better here:) Please continue to pray! I miss you all. Thanks for always being there. (Love you all, Sarah Bates) The beautiful bible given to me was appreciated very much. Berland had a long battle with the prostate cancer but is now with the Lord and family gone before. Keep me in your prayers and I plan to be back with you soon. May God continue to bless you and our church family.
